How it works

Your audio file is decoded into raw PCM samples using the browser's built-in audio decoder. The tool then applies any requested transformation (trimming, resampling, gain) and re-encodes to the target format. The result is a clean downloadable file.

For podcasts, 128 kbps MP3 mono is the sweet spot: small file size, broadly compatible, and perfectly clear for speech. For music, AAC at 256 kbps or FLAC for lossless archival.
