Frequently Asked Questions

How do Unicode fancy fonts work?
These are not actual fonts. Instead, they use special Unicode characters from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block and other Unicode ranges. Each "style" maps regular A-Z letters to their Unicode equivalents (e.g., bold A maps to U+1D400). Since they are real Unicode characters, they can be copied and pasted anywhere that supports Unicode text.
Will these work on Instagram and Twitter?
Yes, most styles work on Instagram bios, captions, Twitter/X posts, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media platforms. Some styles like Negative Squared or certain special characters may not render on all devices. Bold, Italic, Script, and Monospace are the most universally supported.
How do I use fancy text in my Instagram bio?
Type your text in the input field above, find a style you like from the 24 options, and click the Copy button next to it. Then open Instagram, go to Edit Profile, and paste the text into your bio field. The styled text will appear as-is because it uses Unicode characters, not formatting.
Are these the same as custom fonts?
No. Real fonts (like Arial or Times New Roman) are installed on your device and change how the browser renders text. These Unicode styles use special characters that look like different fonts but are actually different Unicode code points. The advantage is they work everywhere without installing anything.
Why do some characters not change?
Unicode mathematical alphanumeric symbols only cover A-Z, a-z, and sometimes 0-9. Punctuation, spaces, and special characters stay unchanged because there are no styled Unicode equivalents for them. Some styles also have exceptions where certain letters use different Unicode blocks.
